Robot Friend

Macy, a teenage girl struggles to make friends after the passing of her father. When walking home from school one day she finds a box with robot pieces in it. Eager, she takes the box home and builds the robot. The robot and Macy bond through the night into early the next morning. Macy leaves to go to school leaving the robot alone, but the robot follows her way to the school getting lost in the big building. Robot Friend is a wholesome coming of age story teaching about how friendships can be made when you lease expect it.
